Since Hassan was brought up in a different class from Amir he wouldnt get the same learning as Amir. Amir goes to school and learns arbaic and different other things. ALl Hassan do is stay home and defend for Amir. Hassan dont learn anything so his life really is different. So Amir will use Hassan as he is already doing because Hassan really dont know thats what he is doing.

  3. Hassan is in a different class from Amir so he can't get the same learning as Amir do . Amir goes to school and learn something about Arabic and different other things too . Hassan only stay at home and defend for Amir . Hassan is really not learning nothing at all , Amir gone keep using Hassan for everything like he doing now . But Hassan doesn't no that Amir is using him for everything though .

  4. Hassan can read and write! Just because Amir and Hassan come from different passes, and one is not as fortunate as the other doesn't mean that they are not eligible to achieve the same standers as the other.Hassan is not illiterated because he is a servent, he is illiterate because his mind was programmed to be a servent. His mind was broken by Amir and Ali at a young age.Instead of useing Hassan for a servent and protector he should try helping Hassan.Teach Hassan about Arabic and educate him. Hassan has the ability to read and write just like Amir does he just has to try doing things his self and not always fall at Amir's feet. If he wants to read and write he has to make a change from being a servent. He has to show Amir he wants to "BREATH" By Jewel Lundy

Hassan is a Hazara and a servant to Amir and Baba, but that does not mean he will be illiterate. By Amir reading to him, Hassan can understand some words and what he is saying, even though Hassan has never wrote a word. It's just like babies. When they are little they can not write but as you read to them they can understand what you are saying. Your class does not mean you can not get your education, but for them it's just harder. I feel that Hassan will find a way to read and maybe write through Amir.
